My ice cream business has really been taking off in Montreal Quebec Canada, and I am so proud of all of the great work that we have done so far. I also love that I have been able to use my temporary furnished apartment in Montreal from the wonderful people at Gesthab for the duration of my stay so far which has been amazing!
It has been a fascinating process so far from transitioning our business model from at home delivery to ice cream truck to the brick and mortar we are operating with now. Each phase of the business has been its own pleasure and challenging with so many different facets to consider.
One of my favorite things about each of these stages however has been the ice cream flavor testing! Naturally you can imagine just how much fun it is to try out new creations and concoctions with flavors that I enjoy myself and have also been able to source from my loyal customers.
In fact, we take the flavor business very seriously and only allow ourselves to pursue sustainable sourcing strategies for any of our products. We believe in the core fundamentals of green business and the value and keeping our planet healthy while making a profit at the same time!
Most recently, our work and market here in Montreal Quebec Canada has yielded more unique challenges than ever before. Because we are now setting up shop here without any foundational services, we find ourselves in search of sustainable suppliers.
