I design escape rooms for a living, and I guess I have made enough of a name for myself at this point that I have actually been commissioned to make a new escape room for Northern Kentucky. And I know I have officially made it because they have even put me up in one of the nicest short term furnished rental in Northern Kentucky with Valley View Furnished Condos that I have ever experienced.
The concepts for my escape rooms come from inspiration and interests in my own life. I like to keep a journal of things that I have seen or heard or experienced out and about in my daily life that may play a factor in one of my upcoming escape rooms.
Being a kid of the 90s, I would always enjoy the cartoons that included an element of mystery and surprise. I also loved to choose my own adventure books and would walk through every permutation of a book just to see how things may have played out by making different choices.
So I guess it is not such a far stretch of the imagination to see that I now find myself making a special escape room in Northern Kentucky, but I was still incredibly surprised and overjoyed when I first read that introduction email asking for my services. This is the first time that I have actually been asked to commission my work instead of my submitting applications and whatnot.
I suppose it is fitting then that I have always been able to enjoy some special perks like my short term furnished rental in Northern Kentucky, which makes me feel like royalty on a daily basis on account of the furnishings and general space just being so luxurious. This whole experience has just been a dream so far, and I sometimes pinch myself thinking that maybe I’ll wake up. But each day I do wake up in my special housing and then make my way to my dream job.
