Collecting model race cars has grown into such a passion of mine that I can now boast nearly one thousand unique collectibles! Because I take this so seriously, I have even opted to travel to places like Northern Kentucky for the model car collection convention, so that I can discover new models that I don’t yet have, and I am so glad that I also am able to enjoy my own temporary furnished housing in Northern Kentucky from Valley View Furnished Condos while I am there.
Fascination with model cars began as a kid when my uncle first got me a collectible series of toy cars. I would play with these things day in and day out and all of my friends were jealous of the collectibles.
It wasn’t until later that I realized these would be valuable, were I to have kept them in mint condition. I don’t regret playing with my cars at all, but this did spark a new interest in me for finding mint condition models.
It became somewhat of an adventure to discover classic model toy cars that were still in mint condition. I felt somewhat like a detective going around and finding these items.
I thoroughly enjoyed the process of gathering my first collectors set! And because this had such a positive impact for me, I decided to branch out into other car collectibles as well.
I imagine you can recognize the genesis of my hobby, and perhaps now it makes sense why I can boast such a significant collection of model toy cars. I am quite proud of the work that I’ve put into finding these collectibles, and I am always excited to show off what I have to whoever is interested.
This hobby has also enabled me to meet many new people in a variety of places, including Northern Kentucky. I never would have discovered the model car convention were it not for my early days in collecting.
Now, I make an effort to go to the convention almost every year! And most years, I do my best to book my own temporary furnished housing in Northern Kentucky from Valley View Furnished Condos so that I have quality accommodations for this exciting event.
