I think a lot of people assumed that cartoon card games fell by the wayside over the years, but after discovering the community in Charlotte NC that is thriving and well, I realized that there are still a lot of people who spend their time trading cards and playing games. Considering how many cards I have collected over the years too, I’m so glad to be able to finally see just how expansive and impressive my deck really is for the competition. I have come to learn that I actually have many rare and powerful cards that have allowed me to grow and get to a higher level of competition.
The kind of community though that I have come to see has really been so warm and welcoming and deeper than anything I would have expected from a simple card game. People really care about each other and have come together to support each other in ways that extend way beyond the friendly competition of cards.
