Everyone everywhere has had probably the strangest and most bizarre years of our lifetime so far. What with all of the major events and catastrophes and just downright absurd things happening, I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels like they need a break.
I think it’s only natural, and probably quite healthy, to want to get away from it all from time to time in order to recharge and recuperate. I don’t think people are meant to be operating at full steam for too long without self-care and reflection.
So my attempt to take a step back has been probably one of the best choices I could have made for myself so far this year, and I am so happy to have the support I need from A Home On The Go with their lovely corporate housing in Charlotte to keep me calm and comfortable. I was a little hesitant at first that this retreat to Charlotte NC may not be exactly what I needed, so I am so happy to have been proven wrong.
Instead, I feel like A Home On The Go has completely blown my expectation for what this trip would be like, completely out of the water! Not only is the corporate housing in Charlotte even more beautiful and spacious than pictured online, but the simple sense of serenity and relaxation that seems to float through the air here has helped me to settle in from day one.
On top of that, the level of care and support I receive from the staff has felt like I am a royal. Seriously, the customer service has been better than a number of high-ranking hotels that I have been to in the past, but with this accommodation, I feel like I am right at home too!
These feelings that I have from my time here so far has really helped me to put the whole year into perspective. While it has certainly been one of the strangest and in many ways the hardest, year of my life, I know I will continue to live and grow in new and exciting ways.
I am thankful to A Home On The Go for their corporate housing in Charlotte and their hospitality which has kept me grounded and made me feel calm amidst all of the craziness in Charlotte NC and beyond. It may even be worth making this into a regular trip!
